Heather Ludwig is the President and Professional Coach with her business, Ludwig Coaching LLC. As a coach, she helps people find their way to career success, specifically when the individual is overwhelmed with options, confused about what to do to advance or change careers, frustrated in their current career choice and not sure where to start a new search and annoyed by not finding time for all the things they want in life.  Heather helps them better understand themselves, get clear about what they want in a career, know what to do to pursue a career and have a plan with time for the things they want in life. She also works with new and emerging leaders wanting the best start in the job and striving to be effective with their team(s) as they grow and develop in their career as a leader.   

Heather brings with her over twenty years of experience in human resources.  Prior to starting her business in 2008, she held the role of Organization & Employee Development Manager with GMAC ResCap, where she also worked in Talent Acquisition and HR Manager roles.  Prior to GMAC, Heather was Compensation Manager for HealthPartners and held roles in the areas of generalist, training, diversity and staffing in the manufacturing industry with GE and The Dow Chemical Company.

Heather holds a BS degree in Business Management, Human Resources and Urban Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  She earned an MA degree in Industrial Relations/Human Resources from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business.  She completed the co-active coaching curriculum and certification program with the Coaches Training Institute and holds the designation of Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). Heather also holds the designation of Certified Career Management Coach (CCMC) from The Academies career coach training program.  She holds a certification in Change & Transition Management from Linkage, Inc. as well as the designation of Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the designation of SHRM-SCP from the Society for Human Resource Management.  Heather is a MBTI Certified Practitioner with CAPT.

Heather has previously served as a member of the Minnesota State University, Mankato, College of Business Advisory Council, and Coordinated the MSU College of Business Mentoring Program.  

Heather is a current member of the International Coach Federation, ICF – Minnesota, Society for Human Resource Management, Association for Talent Development, Organization Development Network, and Southern Minnesota Human Resources Association (previously serving on the Membership Committee and currently the College Relations Chair).  Heather also teaches classes as an adjunct instructor with MNSU-Mankato.

Ludwig Coaching LLC replaces Heather's former company named Key to Renew.  In operation since 2008, Ludwig Coaching is now focused primarily on career and leadership coaching.
